John Tweed

President

During his 30+ year career with Landair, he was named CEO in 2000; previously, he served the company in the positions of vice president of sales and as manager of new product development. In 1996, he co-founded Warehouse Logistics, LLC, a contract distribution services which later merged with Landair. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from East Tennessee State University. He’s an active committee and board member for several industry associations and community organizations including the Niswonger Foundation, Gifts for Kids, Greene County Partnership, United Way, and Opportunity House of Greeneville.

Bridget Lollar

Treasurer

As a mom and a fifth grade teacher at Chuckey Elementary School Bridget has developed a passion for serving children and her community.  She is wife to Brandon Lollar and mom to Nic and Sydni.  Bridget received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from East Tennessee State University and her Master’s degree from Union College.  She is excited about the opportunity to work with the Tweed Family Foundation to make an impact in the lives of individuals and families in the East Tennessee  region.

Joey Tweed

Board Memeber

Joey Tweed is the son of John and Kim Tweed.  He is a graduate of Greeneville High School and has attended classes at East Tennessee State University.  Joey has participated in church service projects and a community youth leadership program.  He is looking forward to the chance to work alongside his family to make a difference in their community.

Kim Tweed

Secretary

Kim Tweed is married to John and has three children; Taylor, Joey, and Halle.  Obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Tusculum College and an Associates degree in Nursing from Walters State Community College allowed her the opportunity to work as a nurse at Laughlin Hospital and in physicians’ offices.  As a leader within the Tweed Foundation, Kim plays a key role in advancing its mission of faith-driven generosity and community impact. She is deeply committed to supporting organizations that provide hope, stability, and opportunity to those facing hardship - evident in her service as a board member of the Hope Center.

Taylor Waddell

Board Member

Taylor is currently obtaining a degree in Theology with a minor in Apologetics from Liberty University while working at Landair as a Logistics Operations team lead.  Outside of work and school, she loves to spend time with her kids, Tatum, Chase and Ainsley, and ride horses.  Taylor values her time with the foundation as she participates in something bigger than herself by sharing the message of God's work and His kingdom purpose daily. She also enjoys serving on the media and charitable ministries boards at her church - East Greene Freewill Baptist Church.

Halle Tweed

Board Memeber

Halle is the daughter of John and Kim Tweed. She obtained a Bachelors in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from East Tennessee State University.  Halle currently works as the Operations Manager at Club Pilates in Johnson City, TN. Her favorite part of her time with the foundation has been seeing how thoughtful stewardship of resources can directly translate into meaningful change within her community. She values the opportunity to carry forward a legacy of generosity while working alongside family members with a shared purpose.
